This young athlete maintains substantial online presence
The young golfer can count on numerous high-profile backers when she begins her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to play at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, owns numerous courses worldwide and regularly competes against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she mentioned.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply don't get nervous."
"He basically told me to go out there and have fun," she continued.
"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has participated in a mere three competitions recently and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
Yet she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with her mother.
"He stands as the top athlete globally," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He advised me to go out there, enjoy myself, following the flow."
The golfer will compete against multiple the biggest names in women's golf at the competition, such as world number two the champion, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials mentioned that her participation exposes golf to wider groups, specifically reaching younger fans.
Kai boasts millions of followers and just introduced an exclusive clothing and lifestyle brand.
The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
