The Streaming Giant Casts Ideal Performer for Bentham in One Piece Third Season
The Secret Organization is geared up to play a huge role in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, although the major clash won’t unfold until the next season, and a cherished, audience-beloved member has recently been selected.
The platform declared Tuesday that the skilled actor will appear in the One Piece cast for the third season and will portray Mr. 2. The role has the ability to morph into an identical duplicate of any individual they’ve made contact with with their right hand. The actor, who is non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will depict a interpretation of that figure reimagined as non-binary identifying, rather than as a drag performer, in the live-action show, unlike the initial comic and cartoon version.
The new cast member will work alongside multiple new cast members who will portray the group to reality, featuring leader Mr. 0, played by the well-known actor, an emerging star as a key member, and a familiar face, who is also part of the ensemble as the ruler of the fictional land.
Though Bon Clay is a major member of Baroque Works, the individual won’t appear until One Piece season 3. Considering the next season likely to portray the Little Garden storyline, this marks a major departure in the placement of their first appearance, one that could suggest additional alterations to the plot development.
The actor’s combination of precise humor and profound feeling makes them a standout choice for the role. Besides their recent voice performance in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and multiple awards for creating and performing in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, highlighting the versatility they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s most celebrated figures.
Netflix's live-action One Piece program is due to premiere for its next installment on March 10th, 2026.
